I would like to know, because I currently have a book but it only deals with Visual Studio-is this the most common for the work environment?

Visual Studio is the most common Development Environment used.
For coding web applications, I guess Dreamweaver is also good.

Reply:What IDE is used with C#? Most commonly Visual Studio, yes. You’re not required to use Visual Studio. You can use a plain text editor or another IDE like SharpDevelop.
Reply:there is another IDE for C#, the Borland C#, but commonly C# programming is done at visual studio.
